Well, because MakeMKV is not a freeware application. While some parts are open source, the whole thing is not. If your only concern is about writing to random locations then you might as well buy a registration key (or use current free beta key) to stop evaluation management code from running. If your question is why MakeMKV is not free or open-source then well, you'll have to stick with libaacs.herman wrote:I do not like the idea that makemkv writes data without being asked to a location of my my computer that i do not know.
