Blu-ray conversions not working, always end with fatal error

For the last few months, when I attempt to convert a Blu-ray, it always fails with a fatal error. For a while, it failed with a fatal error, on the first attempt, and then succeeded on the 2nd. Now it fails every time. Using Windows 10, LG BH16NS40 v.1.03

What information do you find in the Event Viewer for the crash?

Do you get the same crash if you use an older version?
