Just curious - I've been using MakeMKV on a Mac and am now testing it on a Windows 7 64-bit laptop. When I run MakeMKV in my standard user account, I get an error that SVQ updating failed or is disabled (it is enabled in Pref's), but if I Run As Administrator or log into my Admin account the update process runs fine.
I then copy the SVQ files from the .MakeMKV folder in the Admin account to the one in my User account and away we go.
General paranoia makes me run Windows in User mode, and generally I don't have much trouble with getting things done. Am I doing something wrong with the update process in my User account, or is this just a limitation I'll have to deal with to humor my paranoia? Thanks.
