This is the Drive information copied from MakeMKV directly:

Drive Information
OS device name: \Device\CdRom0
Current profile: DVD-ROM
Manufacturer: HL-DT-ST
Product: BD-RE BH16NS58
Revision: 1.03
Serial number: KLZOC5B0108
Firmware date: 2120-05-08 09:33
Bus encryption flags: 1F
Highest AACS version: 66

LibreDrive Information
Status: Possible, not yet enabled
Drive platform: MT1959

No disc inserted

Mostly just want to unlock the fastest read/write speeds, but 4K reading/writing would be a big plus. If I am reading things correctly i have to use a specific firmware flash or i could brick the drive. But when i look for the firmware based off of the Product i am only finding BH16NS55 or BH16NS60. I watched the Video provided but chose to use caution since the drive is rather expensive. Small side not also having issues getting it to work on a linux system, Ubuntu 26.04 LTS. But the flashing from how i understand it, must be done on windows PC/Laptop. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Please give me 24 hours at most while I prepare a full Linux guide for you. You do not need to perform the flashing operation on a Windows machine.
