BU40N 1.05 > 1.04 downgrade possible?

Post by SalsaForte »

I just bought a Verbatim 43888 that is based on the BU40N.

I just read a couple of posts here and I'm not sure if I can safely downgrade my drive to 1.04 from 1.05. From what I found, the latest MK firmware is based on the firmware 1.04. I wonder if other users have a similar drive and were able to easily downgrade it.

I got the the command line command at hand, I just want to know if I should do it and if I can expect it work?

Thanks in advance! I've found very valuable information so far in this community.

PLEASE IGNORE THIS POST: found answer in other threads. Yes, it is possible to downgrade.

Don't post the same question in multiple threads! Your other post been answered.
Cheers :D

Yes. Sorry.
I wanted to delete my post... But I have a user issue: I don't know how to delete a post.
