I had a drive burn out, so ebay'ed a replacement internal BW-16D1HT very recently. I am positive I confirmed it would read UHD.
I did an install of a new M2 boot drive and fresh windows install. On first boot my computer went into a loop beeping and my drive clicking. With a fresh power cycle, everything seemed OK but now I can't read UHD discs.
MakeMKV reports:
Manufacturer: ASUS
Product: BW-16D1HT
Revision: 3.02
Serial number: K9II1DK3417
Firmware date: 2117-11-15 17:16
Bus encryption flags: 1F
Highest AACS version: 23
LibreDrive Information
Status: Possible, not yet enabled
Drive platform: MT1959
Should I flash to 3.10 firmware? Is there an alternate path to enable Libredrive?

Old reply, but for completeness, and to give credit...
Flash to 3.10 cleaned everything up nicely.
Thank you Billy
