Standard Blu-ray copy

Post by Pidrid »

I have about 5 standard blu-ray discs I own and bought a long time ago. They are about our solar system and galaxy. I want to show my granddaughters without paying $100-$300 to buy a blu-ray player or capable blu-ray drive. Is there anyone near Cleveland that could help me out buy making an MKV file ( I will pay) or anyone here that can suggest a good cheap blu-ray drive that will let me make a copy? I have been searching for hours.

Thanks,

Pid

You should be able to get a Blu-ray player for under $100, especially during Black Friday. As long as you aren't doing 4K UHD, you could also use a cheap blu-ray drive with MakeMKV, like the following:

Thanks. Everywhere I was looking recommended MakeMKV and in their videos and in this forum talked about Pioneer drives or LG that had a Pioneer drive and all of those recommended cost 200 - 300 dollars. I did not want to buy a player just to watch 3 documentaries. I know that the expensive drives were for the 4k blu-ray and I wasn't sure if these knockoff brand drives were any good. I did see in the forums that any blu-ray drive would work with MakeMKV.
