I just began using an LG WH16NS60 drive that I bought from e-Bay and discovered it has an original (unencrypted, unlocked) v1.00 LibreDrive-compatible firmware on it.
It might not be a big deal nowadays, as it's not difficult to flash. But for those who want an LG UHD-official drive that doesn't have to be patched for MakeMKV, here is the listing:
