Check disc backup integrity with makemkvcon in a script?

I looked at the docs, but I didn't see anything that stated that makemkvcon could read a disc backup and verify its integrity. I'd like to run a script maybe once a month and make sure that all my disc rips are ok and that there hasn't been an accidental file missing or something. Can makemkvcon do that?

This does not require using MakeMKV. hashdeep is good for saving file hashes and auditing them later.
