Hi everyone,
I’m new to using MakeMKV to convert 4K UHD Blu-ray discs, but I’ve run into a problem with certain discs. When trying to open them, I get an error saying the disc cannot be decrypted. I’ve already updated MakeMKV to the latest version and checked my drive, but the issue persists. Has anyone else experienced this problem? Are there any solutions or workarounds for this?
Thanks in advance for any advice!

It depends on a number of factors. Are you able to download UHD keys? If not, that needs to be fixed. There are topics covering that listed in the UHD section.
If you can get keys, but it still says they title can't be ripped, a file will be generated (file extension TGZ) that will be listed, and instructions to send it to svq@makemkv.com so that a key can be generated. You'll see messages about that here, where people report that they've submitted a key.
