I'm interested in serving 4K UHD rips made using MKV over my home network from a UPnP/DLNA media server (Linux box running Gerbera) to my 4K Sony TV (XR65A80K). I don't have any rips or a drive yet, but before I buy a drive from billycar5924, I want to test compatibility, mainly if the codecs that will be in the MKV from the 4K UHD disc ripping process are supported on the TV.
Does anyone have short clips of these kinds of rips they'd be willing to share? Does anyone know of a source of these kinds of test clips, or can someone trim a few seconds of a clip for me without re-encoding anything and point me to it for testing? Thanks.

Pretty much any h.265 hdr video clip will work for testing to make sure your devices support that codec
Buy a UHD drive from the guide and how to video maker: https://www.makemkv.com/forum/viewtopic ... 20&t=17831

Check out the user RESET_9999 over in this thread: Dolby Vision now possible through MP4 Mux.
The link in his signature will take you to a Google Drive that should have some test files in it.
