Blade Runner Final Cut (disc 3) - Navigation Errors

Post by eeyorehoop »

I've run into an issue trying to rip disc 3 of the Blade Runner 5-Disc Ultimate Collector's Edition. Specifically, MakeMKV is skipping the theatrical, international, and director's cuts of the film. It's able to rip the other content, i.e. the Ridley Scott intros for each of versions.

I've searched the forum but haven't found info on this specific disc. I did try Manual Mode (as best I understand how) as others have suggested to workaround this kind of error, but I get the same outcome.

Below is info from MakeMKV. I'm on MacOS 12.6 and the disc plays fine with VLC and a regular blu-ray player. Any suggestions or pointers someone can offer?

That error means the drive was unable to correctly read a part of the disc. Try gently cleaning the disc and trying again.

Additionally, there are different DVD opening modes. Trying a different one might yield different results.
