Bluray Disc will rip but with digital distortion

I have been successful ripping discs in the past, but recently my rips will digitally distort for up to a second with multi-colored vertical lines. These distortions tend to happen more during fast action, or cameral 'cutaways'.

Affects video only, no issue with audio that I can tell.

Any thoughts?

Don't use the built in windows player use mpc-be with madvr or vlc
