v1.8.0 not working properly

I recently installed MakeMKV v.1.8.0 and tried to load a Bluray movie (The Last of the Mohicans). While the drive (OWC Slim USB2 w/ LG CT30N w106) was visible, when I placed the disc in the drive, MakeMKV merely showed it as a Data disc and I couldn't do anything with it.

I have since downgraded to v.1.7.10 and I can now load the BluRay movie and continue to save the movie to my hard drive. (Streaming did not work on this particular title).

Also, in the new GUI for v.1.8.0, could you make the drive icon smaller (the one in the center that spins when a disc is inserted). On a 13" MacBook Pro, that icon takes up too much space.

Same here. Blu-Ray discs show up as DATA only, and won't even progress to the track selection phase.
Restored to 1.7.10 and all is well. Whew!

Can you please tell your OSX version, and whether you have DASPI installed? Please post screenshot of the main screen showing blu-ray disc as data.

Mac OS X 10.6.8
DASPI v1.3 is installed

MakeMKV v.1.8.0 is now working intermittently. I've tried this with multiple discs as well with similar results. Sometimes the disc will come up as a data disc and other times it will come up properly as a movie. I'm not able to reproduce the results with an exact sequence of steps just yet.

DASPI v1.3 is installed (I even RE-installed it just to be sure)
MakeMKV 1.8.0

My screenshots would have looked pretty much the same as above but I'm now back to MakeMKV v1.7.10 darwin(x86-release) and working fine.
