Program crashes after scanning

I have a Taiwanese cartoon on DVD. MakeMKV crashes just after it reports to have successfully scanned the disc (see attached log). Let me know what other information I can give you to help troubleshoot the issue. Thanks.

You say a "Taiwanese cartoon on DVD".
Is this a commercial disc or simply a Taiwanese cartoon that someone burned to DVD?

As far as I know it is a commercial DVD...they have a printed label. It is an educational cartoon for kids that is only available via a subscription service.
