I'm trying to rip a DVD disc of The Matrix and every time I try to run MakeMKV it's only going and extracting the 12 seconds in the Menu where the WDC logo is shown. Any tips?

I keep seeing online people are using these specific LG Optical drives to rip well and I'm not sure if I have to get one of those to do it.

By default, MakeMKV won't even give you the opportunity to extract such a short title; 2 minutes (120 seconds) is the usual minimum, but some older versions will drop that to 30 seconds.

What did you do to get it to extract a menu only?
