Hello ,
have made a cpy rip for internal use of a bought UHD Disc,
and noticed that the rip went to around 150GB (more than actually proposed in screenshtot);
essentially the main track was present twice.
Is this normal behaviour or do i need to adapt the settings?
Thank you very much.

These are just different play lists. The main movie is what you want with 32 chapters and 68,1 GB.

Sometimes the segments from playlists are displayed as tracks as well, so the main movie segment (e.g. 00001.m2ts) could be within that playlist with chapters and as separate m2ts file (MakeMKV lists playlists first, then m2ts files without playlist)

thank you ,
don't know about playlists on Bluray, thought maybe this has something to do with encryption or copy-protetcion.
when doing backup for internal use, the resulting folder is around 82 GB which is much more reasonable than those 150GB.
it seems i can just delete or untick the twice proposed main track on one instance and be good to go.

All blu-ray discs will show the main playlist (you will see it has chapters) and the actual m2ts movie. You should always choose the playlist. This is a minimum on every blu--ray disc. Some also have obfuscation which can have several (or even hundreds) of identical size playlists which have scenes/sections that are jumbled up in order to try and confuse rippers.
