Hello,
I bought an external ASUS BW-12D1S-U drive some time ago and from I have read on this forum it might be possible to enable UHD ripping on it. Can you please sent me instructions and software to do that.
According to MakeMKV, my drive is running on the Pioneer RS8600 platform with unpatched firmware. Here are my exact drive specs from the software:

Drive Information
OS device name: E:
Current profile: BD-ROM
Manufacturer: ASUS
Product: BW-12D1S-U
Revision: E402
Serial number: QEDL125548WL
Firmware date: 2018-01-15
Bus encryption flags: 1B
Highest AACS version: 60

LibreDrive Information
Status: Enabled
Drive platform: RS8600
Firmware name: PIONEER BDR-209
Firmware type: Original (unpatched)
Firmware version: E402/ID44
DVD all regions: Yes
BD raw data read: Yes
BD raw metadata read: Yes
Unrestricted read speed: Yes

I understand from the guide that Pioneer-based drives require a special flasher or automated kit to cross-flash safely without bricking. So without your help I going nowhere with this.
Thx in advance.
