Hello everyone,
I am working on a Lenovo T490s laptop with the latest Arch Linux installed (x86_64/Linux 6.16.8-arch3-1).
I use GNOME (Wayland) as my window manager.
I purchased a MakeMKV license. I installed MakeMKV via flatpak (version 1.18.2).
Unfortunately, it cannot read DVDs or Blu-rays. However, playback works on my system.
The evaluation of my journalctl:
Sep 27 16:08:50 ThinkPadArch systemd[1342]: Started Application launched by gnome-shell.
Sep 27 16:08:50 ThinkPadArch systemd[1342]: Started app-flatpak-com.makemkv.MakeMKV-2572695035.scope.
Sep 27 16:08:51 ThinkPadArch com.makemkv.MakeMKV.desktop[7430]: QSocketNotifier: Can only be used with threads started with QThread
Sep 27 16:08:51 ThinkPadArch com.makemkv.MakeMKV.desktop[7430]: qt.qpa.qgnomeplatform: Could not find color scheme “”
I have assigned my user to the optical drives, also without success.
I have attached several screenshots showing my problem.
I have read here in the forum that there are several users with the same problem. I have tried to implement the solutions suggested in the threads, but without success. MakeMKV does not read any movies, let alone those from a conversion...
Is this a Makemkv Softwarebug, or is it due to the configuration?
Any solution is welcome.
