i?m using makemkv for a while now. normally all?s fine, but with blurays i?ve everytime the same problems.
dvd rips with makemkv are not causing any issue. mkv?s created with other tools are not causing any issue.
windows explorer crashed in the past, i solved this thanks to your previous posts.
I?m still facing issues with any other tools I?m using when I want to playback Blu-mkv?s or to convert them for my phone.....
My system is a fully updated Win7 professional. Quite strong HW.
makemkv is always fully updated and my problems appear for each version (last 5-6)
Playback issues: copied to my NAS my Popcorn Hour A100 can?t play these mkv?s and if one of these mkv?s is stored on the NAS other files are also not played. when i delete the mkv file again the rest is played fine.
mkv?s created with other tools are working perfect with my popcorn. only mkv?s created with makemkv are causing this issue. playback on my computer works fine with VLC.
tool crashes:
i can open a mkv and change the settings. i can select the type of output and so on.....
when the tools start to convert, all of them crash.
i tested around 10 tools making converting easy for non-experts.
last used tools are: freemake video converter, xmedia record and a lot more.
right now i test any video converter. seems to work, but he needs exactly the whole movie lengh to convert a mkv movie.
movies tested:
i tested newer blurays like e.g. skyline, hangover 1, and older blurays i have since they were available on the marked like transformers 1, pitch black....
hope you have an idea how i can fix this problems.
