Re: AACS v82 Blu-ray Disc dump submission

Hi everyone,

I’m trying to backup a Blu-ray disc using MakeMKV, but I keep getting the error: “This disc uses a newer version of AACS protection” and "The volume key is unknown for this disc - video can't be decrypted".

Any guidance would be greatly appreciated! Happy to provide additional details if needed.

Sorry to piggyback on OP. I'm in the same boat. I've been downloading updated keydb files every day for a week, no dice. So trying the forums.

I'm not sure if I should be using the english keydb or the japanese, so I've been trying both each day.

Just a quick followup in case anyone else finds this. A few days after submitting the post, the title ended up on the japanese language keydb, and worked like a charm.
