Error Code when trying to flash BH16NS55 (1.05 currently)

Hello Community,

I have quite a few 4k UHD Blu Ray Disks that I want to rip and add to my Plex server. I have had an LG Bd-RE BH16NS40 from 2014- so not working with UHD (2015+ as i understand?)

Now I have purchased a new BD-RE BH16NS55, built in 2020 according to the label. I have tried to flash the drive but have had no success so far.

I've made sure to stick to Billycar11's Guide for now. Based on his recommendation viewtopic.php?f=16&t=19634 I got a BH16NS55 for around €100

Once it was installed in my PC and recognized by the device manager i reassigned its drive letter to "A:" and then restarted the PC

Then, using the Power Shell Admin commands like in the "Ultra HAX0R V2" Video I tried flashing the drive and this lovely error popped up:

After that I read a few more forum Posts and discovered the SDFtool Flasher by MartyMcNuts. I tried using the Tool but i got the same exact error

I have tried the following Firmwares:
MartyMcNuts' DE firmware pack viewtopic.php?f=16&t=22896#:~:text=Here ... k.zip/file
Billycar11's Downgrade Enabled Firmware V.2 viewtopic.php?f=16&t=18873#p70284:~:tex ... %3Dsharing

PS: These are the Specs of the drive

Okay I re-read the UHD guide carefully and it recommends to flash the drive to WH16NS60 1.02MK. I did that now, only using Wh16NS60 1.03MK and IT WORKED BEAUTIFULLY!!!!

Rather than taking this post down I decided to leave it up for anone with the same problem.

So flash the BH16NS55 directly to WH16NS60 1.03MK using MartyMcNuts' SDFtool Flasher

Your problem was you wer trying to flash to NS55 1.02 directly. You cannot do this from an encrypted firmware. As stated in many places (including Billy's guide) when you have encrypted firmware, flash to NS60 1.02-MK, then you can flash to another firmware if you want to.

Marty, I have a BH16NS55 flashed to WH16NS60 1.02MK that you supplied last year. Is there any advantage re-flashing to WH16NS60 1.03MK ??
