I like to rip most discs in my Asus... I started with Dracula as it is the only Triple Layer disc in the set. The poor Asus made sounds I haven't heard from her in a long while. It didn't outright fail. But said it was going to be about 9 hours or so lol.
Popped out the disc, and into my Official WH16NS60.
It's ripping at warp speed. So really just a PSA, no one drive is enough to rule them all, unlike the one ring.
Also I was curious if anyone did in fact manage to get a good, expedient rip of this disc on their own Asus.
Either way a great collection, happy to have it. Even if Amazon screwed up the delivery date.
Happy ripping all.
So who else is happy they have two different drives... Universal Classic Monsters

Re: So who else is happy they have two different drives... Universal Classic Monsters
I am having terrible errors trying to rip the UCM discs (Frankentstein, Dracula etc)...have two drives, the LG and Asus and both get about 1/2-way through the rips and give Device Data Errors. Any workarounds or fixes? I had luck in the LG getting a separate 'Bride of Frankenstein' disc to rip that failed in the Asus...but these box set discs are proving an issue.
