King of Queens Blu-ray S5D2E20 "The source file is corrupt or invalid at offset"

I'm trying to backup my King of Queens Blu-ray box set and I've run across an error that I've never seen before. I was able to backup the entire box set (206 episodes) except ONE EPISODE! Season 5 Disc 2 Episode 20 (Driving Reign). While backing up the title, MakeMKV gets just under halfway and then starts throwing "source file is corrupt" errors. I've tried four different blu-ray drives and two different models, and all fail at the same point. So I thought, ok, it's probably the disc then. But the episode plays just fine when I play it in the Sony blu-ray player connected to my TV as well as on an Xbox One.

I posted the output window log below. I've ripped hundreds of discs and I've never come across this issue before. Is there anyway to get MakeMKV to ignore this issue and continue to process the rest of the file?

The drive cannot read the disk, most likely because it is not clean. And by clean, I mean, "Clean enough for a laser to see all the microscopic holes sharply". "Shiny enough to see myself in" is not a good enough standard.

You must have missed the part where I wrote... I've tried four different blu-ray drives and two different models, and all fail at the same point.

Specifically, I've tried the same disc in three different LG BP50NB40 drives, and I also tried it in my LG BH16NS40. They all fail at the same point. There are 13 episodes on the disc total, I can backup 12 outa 13 episodes from the disc. I'm only having the issue with ONE EPISODE.

Yes I read the sticky, all it says regarding my specific issue is to "replace the disc", which in this situation I feel it won't resolve the issue since the specific episode plays just fine on my Xbox One and Sony Blu-ray player. I watched the entire episode from start to finish, it plays all the way thru without a single glitch. So if those players can read the disc then why is MakeMKV having issues backing it up?

I thought about just returning the box set and exchanging it for another, but I read THIS THREAD where someone had pretty much the exact same issue I'm having, and they replaced the disc with another one and still had the exact same issue. So I'm concerned that replacing the disc isn't going to resolve the issue.

I also backed up the entire disc using WinISO and tried processing the ISO thru MakeMKV, but once again it fails at the same point. I even tried cranking up the "Retry Count" to 99, but to no avail.

Is there any way to force MakeMKV to ignore these errors and process the file anyways? What about any MakeMKV alternatives that I can try to backup this single episode? I've never needed any other tool since MakeMKV has never failed me until now. Is there anything else I can try?

You can try removing audio or subtitle tracks to see if the error is isolated enough to allow it to rip.

The issue was the disc. I ended up getting another box set and was able to read that episode from the new disc just fine. Just wanted to post an update on this issue just in case anyone else comes across this in the future. Thanks Woodstock.
