Frozen II - Correct MPLS?

Post by kghoops »

Does anyone have the correct MPLS for Frozen II Blu-ray? I'm getting the following choices:

00800
00801
00802
00705
00706
00707

Thanks!

Which language do you want?

00800 = English

The 00801 and 00802 will be the same except for the titles and credits, which will be in either Spanish or French.

Any idea how to get the singalong version? My girls really want that version off the blu-ray too.

"Singalong" might just be a separate subtitle track within the movie.

The singalong is a separate title with the text burned in (since it highlights as each word is sung). On the blu-ray that comes in the 4K UHD pack that I got, they are the following titles:
English - 705
Spanish - 706
French - 707

The singalong text is in English on all titles. Only the title opening text is different for each title: one Spanish and two English (I haven't figured out the difference between them yet.

Try jumping to 1:33:35 and see if you see the word "Cast" in the credits. That was the only difference I could find between the tracks.

I’ve used each version of MPLS but each one has a descriptive voiceover that I can’t seem to get rid of. Am I doing something wrong? Any ideas on how to get rid of the voiceover?

Probability is that either MakeMKV selected the Descriptive Audio track as the "highest spec" audio, or your player cannot handle the movie audio codec and is falling back to the best one it can play.

Second post in this topic... Disney disks rarely change, no matter where you get them.

Makemkv comes up with 6 movies, all the same run time and chapters.

00800.mpls
00801.mpls
00802.mpls
00705.mpls
00706.mpls
00707.mpls

Anyone know which playlist is the correct one for german?

(t01) 00801.mpls is the version with the german video title "Die Eiskönigin II" instead of "Frozen II"

For the german singalong version you need to remux t18 with t25 (use the second pgs ~25,4MB) and extractet chapters from t01

cheers
