[SOLVED] build 797: Title #0 (main feature) was skipped

Post by ChinaJade »

Using: With "Sinbad and the Eye of the Tiger" DVD, MakeMKV does not see the main title (#0). Indeed, the MakeMKV log indicates "Title #0 was skipped".

I tried the DVD in two different DVD drives, the LiteOn DX-4O1S-06 and a Matshita U_850S 1.21, same results with both drives.

The MakeMKV log shows ("Log Debug Messages" was checked on):

Code: Select all

Using direct disc access mode

Title #0 was skipped
Title #1 has length of 108 seconds which is less than minimum title length of 120 seconds and was therefore skipped

Operation sucessfully completed
I examined the disc under bright light, and it looks mint quality to the naked eye. Also, other tools I have (e.g., CloneDVD, BurnISO, etc) seem to have no problems with the disc.

No complaints, just something to look at if you get time. Thanks!

Edit 19-Mar-2009: Added IFOs from DVD as an attachment.

Edit 9-Apr-2009: [SOLVED] Confirmed that 1.4.0 beta addresses the problem with this problematical disc. Also, thank you for making File -> Open Files return to the most-recently used directory. It looks like some performance improvements were snuck in too. You guys are the best!

This is corrected in the latest version (1.4.0).
