Program stops working in middle of processing....

I've had several titles just stop during around halfway through the process. Does not error out, does not come back with an error...looks like the program is at idle. The time estimated actually increases and the MB count pretty much just stops. The program never dies out, just sits there. I understand this is a beta program though, so this may be normal. Right?

Personally, the only time I've been this is with a heavily scratched DVD.
