Feature Request, RE: Random Naming

Post by Krawk »

Yes this topic has been touched several times but never really resolved or followed up.

Let's start out with the feature request first and then explain why.
Would like to see the title named the same as the disc/folder name.
Example; the program creates a folder called "HUNCHBACK_OF_NOTRE_DAME" - how bout the title inside be called HUNCHBACK_OF_NOTRE_DAME.title01.mkv? Call it "True Naming" or "Fully Auto" or something fancy.

The auto/semi-auto name function is very random and using other options requires constant intervention. Some days I could get 5 in a row where the title is named similar as the folder name, then get 10 in a row with the generic "title00.mkv" structure. Title length has nothing to do with it - Gladiator is currently processing and it is writing title00.mkv, the randomness would sometimes output it as gladiator-t00.mkv. Most of us have a disk structure in place than can accept super long filenames, but the average output would never be too long really.

Also - is there any way for a more truthful title numbering on the output file? Why does title 01 create a file named title00? 17 makes it 16, etc... It would seem a simple fix, just add +1 to each output file number.

Am a happy paid customer, I believe in the product. I do not think this request to be too unreasonable, is it?
