Any way to play MVC 3D with external subtitles?

I've tried Stereoscopic player, PowerDVD but with no success.

I checked some guides on using FFDshow as a filter but i couldn't add subtitles to the stereoscopic player, the decoders/filters were always the built in ones, for info i was using the version 2.3.5

Anyone has had any success?
