Failed to open disc?

This is the first time in over 400+ discs that I've seen this. I've ripped to AUDIO_TS / VIDEO_TS with DVDFab 9 as i like the software.

I usually batch convert to mkv using the batch converter found on these forurms. I like this method and would rather not change.

I can open the VIDEO_TS.IFO and it all plays just fine on my PC using Media player classic, but makemkv.exe can't open the file.

How can I solve this?

And what happens if you use MakeMKV to rip the disk directly?

If i use makemkv to rip the disc, i end up with 13 mkv files (each episode on the disc).
