Question about "Default Selection Rule"

Post by tncolts »

Hey folks,

I've been playing around with the "Default Selection Rule" in the "Advanced Preferences" and I have it configured just about how I want. Currently I'm using:

"-sel:all,+sel:eng,=100:all,-10:favlang,-sel:subtitle,+sel:(subtitle*(eng)),+sel:(forced*(eng)),+sel:attachment,-sel:nolang"

Works great!

My questions is: I would like to know if there is a way to un-select any tracks (playlist) that DO NOT have an audio track. I just want the program to ignore (un-select by default) any tracks that contain NO AUDIO or contain video only. Does anyone know of a way in which this can be achieved?

Thanks for your help

There is no way to automatically select titles in MakeMKV. It wouldn't be much use anyway, what's on the each disc is pretty much random and ultimately there's no possible set of rules that could choose correctly, but that wouldn't stop people from constantly asking for improvements in the title selection in search of that unreachable goal. How do you know there's not a video without audio out there somewhere that you may want to keep?
