Hello everyone, first time poster here.
I'm trying to rip DTS Master Audio 7.1 from a Rio 2 Blu-ray.
When I select the 7.1 audio track from the disc (Shown as DTS-HD MA Surround 7.1 English in makeMKV) I get DTS 7.1 in the MKV file, but I don't seem to get the master audio or stream extension portion when checking with media info and power DVD.
Maybe it's working fine and I really am getting the full DTS-MA stream in the MKV, but I want to be sure and the only two tools I have to verify my rips are showing differences when I load up the m2ts file and the mkv file to compare.
Note: I've configured dtsdecoderdll.dll as shown on the makemkv website. (/dtshd/)
Here are some screen shots showing the difference in both powerDVD and in MediaInfo, can anyone explain to me what's going on?
I am just starting to rip my Blu-ray collection and I want to get all my settings down just right so I don't have to go back and do it again later.
Thanks for any guidance anyone can provide.
