Beta key no longer functions

It looks like we've reached "the end of July 2014", and this key no longer works. I think it must have stopped sometime in the last 24-48 hours.

The linked post asks to "check back for an updated key", do you think that means that MakeMKV will continue to be in beta after this point, i.e. we will get another free beta key?

Can anyone confirm that's it's not some software hiccup on my end coinciding with the date in the linked post?

A new beta key should be posted in that same message within a few days.

Beta continues, but Mike limits the life of the beta key so that people don't unknowingly run old versions "forever".

You can get around it by setting your date on the computer back to 7/25, start MakeMKV, then reset the date to the current date.

Or you can buy a non-expiring key, like I did.

Setting the date back worked, and I did try that before posting here. But I just thought I'd mention, I had to set the date farther back than 7/29 to make it work. Didn't play around with it to see where the cutoff was, but 7/24 didn't work either - I went to February after that, and it worked.
