making makeMKV accessible to the visually impaired

Post by jdawg »

i’m wondering if anyone would be able to make makeMKV accessible to those of us visually impaired people using voice over on the Mac? Currently when you open makeMKV you hear voiceover say “unknown.” this means there’s no way to navigate the interface to even load a disc, let alone back one up. I am a visually impaired movie lover with quite a few blu-ray movies and have no way to play them on the Mac. I don’t feel like booting into windows to be able to play my blu-ray movies owing to the fact that i’m sacrificing the life of my computer, because it gets hotter faster in windows than on the mac. maybe makeMKV can’t be made accessible due to it possibly having nonstandard controls or something but i just thought it’d be worth a check. Thanks and any ideas get back to me!'mwondering if anyone'd be able to make makeMKV accessible to those of us

i know and it'd make my life so much easier. the people who make DVD Audio extractor aren't able/willing to cater to my needs, so I'd like to have a company that has something to do with being able to play blu-rays on the mac be able to do what I'm asking... i'm hoping that the mac version of makeMKV isn't a port over from windows so there'd be a possibility of it. Thanks!
