Good evening,
I apologize if this is a repeated question, I'm sure it is. I'm in the process of ripping all of my DVD's and storing them on my NAS for playback on my media center PC (xbmc) and I'm curious which blu-ray player you are all using for your blu-ray discs. Will any player do the job, does it need to be a blu-ray burner? I've read some things about a couple of pioneer drives having some issues, but they seem to be r/w drives.
Which blu-ray player?

Re: Which blu-ray player?
Do you mean a Bluray drive for your computer, or a Bluray player?
I don't have a Bluray player, but I do have a BD-ROM drive for my peecee to rip Blurays. You do not need to get a burner, although price wise they are almost the same price as a BD-ROM.
