MakeMkv and Camcorder HD video

I'm trying to figure out why MakeMKV is giving me an error when i try and convert the video from my camcorder. I was trying to find an easy way to grab the video, convert it to MKV (to utilize chapters) and play on my WDTV. When I backup from the SD card it creates a folder with a BD movie structure. I open the index.bdmv and it shows me all the files/chapters but when i hit create is says x files saved, x failed.

Any ideas please as this would work great for anyone with an HD camcorder (avchd, i'm currently using a Panasonic SD9).

Is there nobody out there who has the same issues? Am I missing something?

Use tsmuxer GUI to demux the video and audio and then use mkvmerge to turn it into an mkv. Although doing it this way you'll lose the framerate. It will need to be specified when dropping it into mkvmerge.

Thanks, i was just hoping for the 1 step solution. I'd still like to find out what's going on with makemkv. I was using Clown_BD before to demux but when I use mkvmerge my audio/video is out of sync and zoom player or media player plays it in what looks like slo-mo, unless that's just 'cuz of the computer speed.

can you please enable "log debug messages" in preferences, reatart the app, try to open it again and post the log here?
