My ISP is not resolving www.makemkv.com but replacing that url text with 194.28.172.56 does go through, for now. Each site link also needs to be modified this way. So, why post here since any forum reader is not blocked or already knows how to circumvent the block?
1. The author may need to use the direct link for updating the .svq files from makemkv.exe.
2. Any user should hurry to purchase a permanent registration since it may soon get harder to refresh your beta password.

Re: Banned in the USA
Must be a local thing - makemkv.com resolves just fine via our local servers, including Comcast.net.
I've used the direct IP when there were DNS problems on Mike's hosting side, but those are usually short lived.

Or just use a 3rd party DNS like OpenDNS, rather than your iDiotic ISP DNS.
