Do not buy from China. They show a legit Pioneer drive so you buy thinking your getting that drive but you end up with a re case unit that has a old used drive or probably a rma return. Check out the local forum sellers. Yes you will have to pay more but at least it legit with warranty.

I'm Chinese. I once got scammed and bought a counterfeit BDR-S08XLB. The scammers run a ring specializing in refurbished knockoffs. They cheat buyers on both second-hand and official shopping platforms in China. These fake Pioneer drives are not worth buying at all.
