[AACS v82] “Il ragazzo di campagna” (Mustang Entertainment, ITA, August 2025) – Volume key unknown

Hi everyone,
I’d like to report an Italian Blu-ray that currently can’t be decrypted.

Title: Il ragazzo di campagna
Publisher: Mustang Entertainment (Italy)
Disc timestamp: 2025-08-07 15:28:39
Protection: AACS v82
Disc type: BD-ROM dual layer (38.96 GB)
Drive: MT1959 – FW 3.01 – LibreDrive enabled (original firmware)
MakeMKV: latest beta (Oct 2025)

When I open the disc, MakeMKV reports:

Using LibreDrive mode (v06 id=...)
AACS v82 detected
The volume key is unknown for this disc
Failed to open disc


DVDFab Passkey also fails to decrypt it.
Another Mustang title, Rimini Rimini (AACS v81), works fine.

Can anyone confirm this issue or submit a dump for this disc?

MakeMKV should've created a dump for that on your system somewhere. Email it to svq@makemkv.com and a hashed key will eventually be created.
