I am running PopOS 22.04LTS and up until now had been running the latest MakeMKV 1.18.1 no trouble at all both the complied version using the install how-to and the version now shipped as a flatpack in the PopShop (package manager).
In the past few day's I have changed my boot device and decided to go for a fresh install of PopOS and I now have a problem with MakeMKV both flatpack and source, where all or at leat most of the menu's are greyed out and inaccessible.
At first I did not realise and just thought the register option was greyed out which I got around by using the command line to enter my registration key. It was after this that I noticed that the program was no longer usable due to the greyed out menus!
I have tested by installing the flatpack version again and get the same result. I have also tried removing version 1.18.1 installed using the guide and then installing an old version going with 1.17.8 but no joy. I have launched via the terminal and there are no errors or warnings.
Searching I have found another who had this issue on MacOS but i have not found a fix. Any suggestions please as i use this software all the time and this is a bit of a bummer for me.
Thanks in advance for any input
