Getting error when trying to rip Starship Troopers 4k steel book

I am able to open the DVD and get to the selection screen after about 15 minutes into the rip it errors. I double checked the disc and there are no obvious scratches any suggestion would help also I can provide screenshots if needed

No need for screen shots, just log entries. The log says what MakeMKV saw.

Welp I started ripping the movie again to get the error code and it decided to work this time.

A lot of temporary errors can happen. A common one is if the disk spins faster than the drive has power for... and having a very fast write capability can hit that. You'll see it as errors about the drive going off-line. Slow it down just a bit, say, if the hard drive is busy with more than one thing going on at a time, and things suddenly (and mysteriously) work.

If that was what happened, you may get this on another disk. Just remember to keep track of the log.
