Multiple Drives using the UI

Post by hawkxp71 »

I have been using MakeMKV for sometime and love it. Except for one issue. How the UI handles multiple drives.

If I have a rip already going one one drive, and I want to RIP another. when the UI starts, it always does a scan. which, while it doesnt seem to effect the output of the first rip, the seeking on that drive just sounds horrible.

Is there any way to call the UI with a command line argument "Use drive 0" or "No Scan" where it just lets me select the drive, and then it scans to see if the drive has a disc in it?

What do other people do for this?

Have MakeMKV start in single-drive mode.

Open preferences, select "IO", click on "Ask for single drive mode".
