I just upgraded my Mac from High Sierra to Ventura (i was fighting inside between 32 but apps and new features, iCloud shared photo library finally pushed me over the edge). Since upgrading my iMac no longer detects either my ASUS or pioneer Blu-ray drive. The lights turn on so they receive bus power but nothing mounts. I think this is a permissions issue? But don’t know. When i insert a disc nothing happens but when i try to access the drive through MakeMKV it spins up and then auto ejects. Every time. Two things jump out at me from this, one the computer detects there is a drive but doesn’t seem to allow any reading? Since nothing ever mounts but MakeMKV can see it.
Any pointers here to fix it?

There was a bug on Intel macs I think that was preventing pioneer drives from working not sure why the other isn't but was fixed in a .1 update make sure your fully up to date Incase the update are in increments
