I give up ... just need a simple answer

in English, i am not a programmer. See the attached picture. Look, all I am trying to do is rip a 4k UHD movie and make it into an MKV. I am not trying to copy the entire disk, as in backup. I cant find a guide on here or on youtube that explains it simply, its like some super secret I guess. My drive reads the DVD's as i purchased the drive from a source on this site. I enabled expert mode on the settings, btw. So I put the disk in, then it reads it and shows me the title of the movie. Then if I click the disk icon again it just spins and reads and reads and give me some errors then says its looking for a workaround. I mean what am I supposed to do after I first load the disk and i can see the name of the movie? I just want to get to the folders so I can select the video and audio files. Is there any kind person on here who can tell me how to do that, I mean I will pay somebody at this point, its like its a huge secret. Did you click on the big button that looks like a Bluray disk, to open it?

Until you do, you won't get to select the titles on the disk.

If your getting trying workaround errors you need to clean the disc UHD discs need to be nearly perfect for them to work.

Don't give up:

First step - clean the disc as Billy said. In fact, clean every disc you ever buy from this day forward with three drops of dish detergent and warm water, gently rubbing from the center to the edge. After a few passes, rinse and dry with a CLEAN microfiber cloth, again, from the center to the edge (I prefer a very fine weave cloth). This would likely solve about 50% of all posts on this forum regarding disc issues, I'm convinced.

Next load the disk into the drive, launch MakeMKV (as an admin, if in Winders).

Click the big blu-ray disk button.

Once the disc is fully loaded, select the options you want. Generally, the movie title is the largest file, expand the title and deselect any audio, languages, or subs you don't want. Verify the output path is correct and click the Make MKV button on the right to begin.

My $0.02 worth of advice: Start with a standard blu-ray as they are much more forgiving. That way, you'll know you have the process down before attempting much more finicky UHDs.
