Hello,
I assume that most users here use a 64 bit system. For me there are still reasons to stay at 32 bit.
Maybe that's why no one notices that the new libmmbd.dll integration has a small problem. Maybe it is not a bug, but intentional.
Under 32 bit Windows (Win 7 Pro & XP Pro Dualboot), when trying to install libmmbd.dll, it will fail to integrate, always called
the "makemkvcon64.exe". This cannot work with 32 bit...
Error code:
MMBDINST: Launching C:\Program Files\Special\MakeMKV/makemkvcon64.exe
001003:0020 DEBUG: Code 216 at _g||Ie)i1Jrdg<+zaJ:121264257
004041:0000 Failed to execute external program 'mmbdinst' from location 'C:\Program Files\Special\MakeMKV/makemkvcon64.exe'
001003:0020 DEBUG: Code 0 at @Nm>05F{/S@hg`,fJd:121266764
Otherwise MakeMKV runs reliably and stable.

Oh, a bug...
Does it work if you delete makemkvcon64.exe and copy makemkvcon.exe to makemkvcon64.exe?

Yes, it work when I delete makemkvcon64.exe and copy makemkvcon.exe to makemkvcon64.exe
But I am not sure if it works completely. No registry entry found, that the DLL is now present in the system32 folder.
Can a media player know that he has to look for the DLL there without a hint? Sorry if my thoughts are wrong.
Thank you for your support.
