I upgraded from a Win 7 computer to a Win 10 computer,
downloaded MKV to the new computer but my original key number is not recognized.
Licence Key not recognized
Re: Licence Key not recognized
It should be recognized, so long as there weren't any "hidden" characters in it. Using Copy/Paste from some email programs (Outlook is one of them, including the online Outlook/365) will copy hidden formatting characters in addition to the text.
The most reliable methods are to type it in directly, OR copy it from the email, paste it into a TEXT ONLY application (Notepad works, Wordpad not so much), then copy/paste into MakeMKV from there.
