Hey everyone,
sometimes, MakeMKV reports (e.g.) "Track 2 is identical to Track 1, skipping" or something like that.
How does it do that? Because it's detected rather fast I suppose, it doesn not make a CRC check or something.
The reason I'm asking...
(In this example) all of the six English tracks on the bottom of the list are identical. And all six BluRays of the Compilation I'm currently ripping have that problem.
Does anyone know, if MakeMKV can't detect it, how one can find identical streams within a MKV file?
How does MakeMKV detects duplicate tracks? Or how can I do it myself?
Re: How does MakeMKV detects duplicate tracks? Or how can I do it myself?
Over the IFO file which comtains the meta data of each title. Simple compare
Good Luck
