Best drive to purchase

So after trying to learn as much as possible about libredrive and averaging MakeMKV as best I can I went from old SE-506AB and bought the BU40N.

The SE was still working for older disks while running 1.14.1 and I used BU40N running 1.14.5.

Everything worked great while using both even at the same time. Well, the SE now is hardly ever used and I want to swap it out for a second drive.

What is the absolute best drive to get? Supports Libredrive and maybe even not have rip-lock (BU40N still has it)?
