Error - End of File Marker

Error 'OS error - The end-of-file marker has been reached. There is no valid data in the file beyond this marker' occurred while reading '\Device\CdRom0' at offset '44313524224'

I've noticed this on a few discs now. The backup (MKV or full disc) appears to complete correctly. Is it an error or something to worry about? It's not entirely clear.

Good Morning, I'm also seeing this error, although my file fails. Before updating to the current version it would just get stuck, now it fails:

It's a home made DVD (my kid's Christmas play) if that helps?

Maybe the home made Blu-ray is not finished/closed and/or have set the wrong size for the file and now the software requests data beyound the real file size.

Thank you - if it has been left open, is it possible to close it?

Never burned a Blu-ray, but on DVDs the creating Hardware (Recorder) or Software must finalize the medium to use it on other components.

Just to close this one off - in the end I just copied the video file off. Didn't actually need makemkv...
