Hi - Am I missing something in the settings or is there no setting to set the audio, video and subs to default. After creating mkv's I noticed that there was no time length (viewed in windows) for any of the mkv's I've created. If the files are opened up in MKVToolNix it shows the 3 tracks not set to default and after setting each to default and running Toolnix the time length appears.
Is there a setting in MakeMKV or is it something that might be an idea to add to future builds.

default audio, video and subs setting
Re: default audio, video and subs setting
Windows Explorer does not know how to read MKV file attributes by default. You have to have a codec pack installed before the "Properties" feature works.
As for setting the defaults for selection, you first have to enable Expert mode enabled. Then you can work with profiles and default selection rules, plus have access to manually selecting tracks. More info here: http://makemkv.com/forum2/viewtopic.php?f=1&t=16405
